Where the wild things are

26 September - 2 October 2026

A personal invitation

Do You Remember the Feeling?

“Where the Wild Things Are” wasn’t just a story for many of us; it was a feeling. A feeling of boundless curiosity, of adventures in wild, untamed places, and of a magic that felt so real you could almost touch it.

Somewhere between then and now, amidst the to-do lists and the noise of “adulting,” that sense of wonder can feel like a distant memory. We stop sailing to where the wild things are.

This retreat is my invitation to you to come back.

To reclaim that magic.

I created this journey in Iceland because this island is that storybook world come to life. It’s a land of roaring waterfalls that feel like giants, black sand beaches that stretch into misty horizons, and glaciers that whisper ancient secrets. And as if by magic, the sky itself might come alive for us, as we’ll be on the lookout for the celestial diva herself, the Aurora Borealis. Here, the wild things aren’t in a dream; they’re all around you—and above you.

This is your chance to put down your responsibilities, just for a week, and let this incredible landscape awaken your curiosity and your sense of awe. We’ll explore, we’ll practice yoga with the elements, and we’ll remember what it’s like to feel truly, joyfully alive and connected to the magic of our planet.

I truly believe that the wild, curious child you once were is still right there, waiting to come out and play under the dancing lights. I can’t think of a better place to meet them than here.

I hope you’ll join me on this adventure.

Warmly,
Irena
